Super middleweight contender Carl Froch expects big things when he takes on Arthur Abraham on October 2 in Monaco. The fight will be a do or die effort for Froch to enter the semi finals of Showtime's Super Six tournament. Froch has two points from his win over Andre Dirrell and needs another win to stay in. Abraham has three points from the knockout of Jermain Taylor. Froch says he can take the best shots Abraham throws from his arsenal. He wonders what Abraham will do when his best punches fail.

"It's going to be probably the best fight this year and I will be part of it." said Froch to livefight.com. "There's going to be a lot of polls, arguments and debates about who will come out as top dog between me and Arthur. His fans will claim their man will knock me out - but once he's sent his best shots in and I'm still there, you'll see a different look on his face. What else can he do when that fails to seal the deal?

Froch is training hard at his Sheffield base. Even with the odd location to ensure a neutral result, Froch expects a lot of support come fight night.

"Training has been going alright. I actually went on runs, hitting the bags and so forth as soon as I got back from Herning. I'm in lockdown at the moment. It's training or being a dad to my baby boy. Nothing else matters." said Froch.
