WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch faces Arthur Abraham in the third stage of Showtime's Super Six Boxing Classic. The round-robin tournament will have Froch fighting Abraham on the tentative date of August 21. Froch says the fight was going to land in the Nottingham Arena but he feel the venue is not big enough. Froch believes the fight can bring around 30,000 fans to the City Ground.
"I'm hoping my fight against Arthur Abraham will be at the City Ground in late August. We were looking at having it at the Nottingham Arena but don't think it is big enough. I'm praying it will be at the City Ground as I'm a huge Nottingham Forest fan and it would be amazing to fight there," Froch said.
