As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, there have been rumors that retired super middleweight king Joe Calzaghe reached out to Mikkel Kessler's team and offered some guidance on beating WBC champion Carl Froch on April 24 in Denmark. Even with Calzaghe's retirement, the domestic rivalry with Froch has continued. Most thought it would end when Calzaghe retired early last year.

Froch is not concerned. He doesn't think Calzaghe has anything to offer Kessler in terms of help or advice. And he called Calzaghe a coward for never accepting his challenge prior to retirement.

"Calzaghe was not man enough to fight me and maybe feels a bit more secure whispering in another fighter's ear than taking my punches himself. He never had the bottle to fight me so how can he know how to beat me?" - Froch told ESPN.co.uk
