BoxingScene.com has confirmed with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum that Freddie Roach will be training middleweight contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. for the biggest fight of his career, against John Duddy, which takes place on June 26 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Arum calls the Duddy fight a 'make or break' moment for the career of Chavez Jr.
"Freddie will be training him. Chavez Jr. has been disappointing in his last couple of fights and this is a big fight, and he's got to show that he just doesn't have the name, that he also has the genes," Arum told BoxingScene.com.
