Firepower

Most of Haye's KOs have been early stoppages at cruiserweight.

At heavyweight, other than Nikolai Valuev, he has continued to stop his opponents.

Haye was negative v Valuev, preferring to keep on the back foot before a last-round bomb.

Klitschko is warier of throwing big punches, preferring to work off his superb jab, wearing his opponents down before letting the big shots go. He has stopped 9 of his last 10 opponents.

Tactical Brain

HAYE'S tactics will be interesting. Klitschko isn't a Harrison or a Valuev, he is an intelligent man and no-risk fighter. He also has top trainer Manny Steward in his corner.

Haye needs to make himself a small and elusive target, needs to bend his knees and roll under the big man's jab.

Heart

THE Brit has shown he has plenty by getting up from the canvas to win, but he will have to dig deep against Klitschko if he finds himself down first.

A factor maybe the home crowd getting being behind Klitschko. The backing of the home fans can lift a fighter through tough moments.

Chin

THEY have suspect chins. Haye has been floored in the amateurs by Jim Twite, dropped by Lolenga Mock in the super middleweight, stopped by Carl Thompson, floored by Jean Marc Mormeck and hurt by Monte Barrett.

Klitschko has hit the canvas 12 times. The last person to do it was Samuel Peter in 2005. But, under Manny Steward's watch, he has improved.

Experience

KLITSCHKO has got excellent experience at all levels in the heavyweight division.

He won a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and has racked up 272 rounds in his pro career - with 18 world championship contests among them.

His last loss was seven years ago to Lamon Brewster. Since then he has one of the world's top trainers in Emmanuel Steward, who has improved his defence.

Haye has criticised Klitschko's opponents but he himself has boxed a much lower level of opponent. I wasn't impressed with the likes of Audley Harrison, John Ruiz and Monte Barrett.

Stamina

ALTHOUGH Haye did 12 rounds against Valuev, he went the distance against one of the worst world heavyweight champions in the sport's history.

Valuev was cumbersome and ineffective while Haye boxed a lot off the back foot.

We haven't seen how Haye reacts under pressure in this division or if his stamina can keep the pace.

Klitschko, who weighed in at 242lb 8oz, is bigger than 212lbs 12oz Haye - and that disparity could be crucial.

The Ukrainian has gone the distance three times and his last few fights have finished in the later rounds.

My Scorecard

DESPITE all the pre-fight nonsense from Haye - which is trash talk at its worst and wasn't needed to publicise the fight - I think that Klitschko is far too intelligent to be rattled by Haye's actions.

There is no doubt both men will be fired up but it is a fact that Klitschko is the one who has been chasing for this fight all along and trying to force to happen.

In a big heavyweight fight anything can happen. Haye, with his speed and power, has got a big chance, but, for me, he has to do it early and if he can't, then it becomes Klitschko's fight.

Haye can't do what he did against Valuev or Harrison - when he didn't throw a meaningful punch for the first two rounds - it's all about speed and tempo and making himself an elusive target and trying to negate Klitschko's jab and let his shots go, but by doing this he may leave himself open.

I expect Klitschko to dominate with his jab and take to the centre of the ring and he'll be hard to hit with his tight defence. The firepower and chins are the determining factors but I just cannot see Haye out-boxing Klitschko.

He obviously has a punchers chance but I have to fancy Klitschko in this fight because I feel that Haye will have to rely on his punch, as much as that is his strength it could also turn out to be his weakness in avoiding the Klitschko counter.

It would be great for a Brit to win, but the bottom line is, other than a KO, I cannot see Haye out-boxing Klitschko.
