Promoter Frank Warren is always good for a few one-liners in the press. In his recent "Frankly" Speaking" column, he took a good swipe at Dmitriy Salita and his promoter Roy Jones Jr. Two weeks ago, Salita was knocked out in less than a round by Amir Khan. In the same week, Salita's promoter Roy Jones Jr. was also stopped in the first round by Danny Green.

"Roy Jones Jr was knocked out in the first round by Danny Green in their IBO cruiserweight clash in Sydney. Jones promotes Dmitriy Salita, who says he wants to follow in the footsteps of the eight-time world champ in four divisions. He certainly did last Saturday - but not in the way he would have hoped!" - Warren said.

You can't have a good Warren column without at least one decent verbal jab at Ricky Hatton.

"Ricky Hatton liked a waxwork of himself on display in Blackpool so much he has ordered a replica for his house. At least that one will always be in shape."
