The Sports Network issued a statement that Boxing promoter Frank Warren has dropped his lawsuit against multi-division champion Ricky Hatton and his father Ray. The lawsuit began last September when Hatton broke away from Warren and signed with rival promoter Dennis Hobson. Hatton claimed that his deal with Warren's Sports Network had expired.
The statement also noted that the two sides may negotiate in the future.
"(These) will hopefully form the basis of a working relationship at some stage in the future," the statement said.
