Enzo Maccarinelli says he would love to be Nathan Cleverly's next opponent in an all-Welsh world title showdown.
Former cruiserweight champion Big Mac was ringside on Saturday to see Cleverly make a successful defence of his WBO light-heavyweight crown.
And he will ask promoter Frank Warren to make the fight.
Maccarinelli says he still has much to offer despite a string of stoppage losses.
Since his last defeat, he has dropped down to 175 pounds, and claims he will make the weight with ease.
"I'd love to fight Nathan," said Enzo. "It would be a great fight for me and a great fight for Wales."
Warren said: "It's been mentioned but Enzo has pass a few tests before we can talk about getting it on. Nathan has lots of options as to where he goes next."
