Frank Cotroni Jr. (9-3-1), who was a Canadian champion at welterweight in 2013, was measured by Richard Reittie (11-4-1) in the main confrontation presented at the Hilton Casino du Lac-Leamy (Gatineau). The was presented by Club de boxe de l'Est, in collaboration with Final Round Boxing of Ottawa.

Cotroni did not drag things. Beginning in force, he sent Reittie to the ropes with a solid right in the early exchanges. The referee finally stopped the fight at 45 seconds of the first round.
 
Also, hope Montrealer Steven Butler (6-0-0) again offered a flawless performance. His opponent Valerijs Podojahins (1-1-1) was persistent. Nevertheless, the advantage in speed and skills allowed Butler to set the pace and control the action. The referee finally put an end to the confrontation at 1:07 of the fourth round. Butler is a protégé of the firm Eye of the Tiger Management.
