WBA featherweight world champion Carl Frampton is fully supporting Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs), as this Saturday he steps in the ring with IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs).

The fight takes place at the O2 Arena in London. HBO and Sky Sports Box Office will carry the contest.

In July, Frampton made his own move in weight when he jumped from super bantamweight to featherweight to unseat undefeated Leo Santa Cruz for the WBA world championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

But Brook, who holds the IBF welterweight world title, is not heading up by four pounds like Frampton. He's moving up by thirteen pounds to meet Golovkin at 160-pounds.

Frampton is very impressed by Golovkin's accomplishments and not just what he's done at the pro level. Golovkin was an Olympic silver medal winner and lost only five fights as amateur while winning over 300.

"People don't rate his boxing skills and talk about his lack of boxing skills, they say he's like some sort of robot who just comes forward but this guy was an unbelievable amateur," Frampton told Sky Sports in an exclusive interview.

"He was amateur world champion, he had an incredible record and he can box when he has to. He can fight when he has to, he can punch hard with both hands and his shot selection is incredible. He's very, very durable and he can take a shot, too. He is one of the most complete fighters I have ever seen. And if we just want to talk about that power, just watch him as an amateur. He was knocking out people like Lucien Bute. He is just class, brilliant."

"I would love to see Kell Brook do it and I know a lot of people have written him off but he is a big welterweight and he's probably like me. I grew out of super-bantamweight and he's probably grown out of welterweight a long time ago, when he's just been making it because he's the champion. He will be solid light-middle but to step up to face Golovkin at middleweight is dangerous. It is a big ask but he's got balls and you've got to give him credit for it.

"I see a lot of people giving him stick but he deserves credit for taking it on. It would be great if he did it and I hope he gets very, very well paid out of it but it's hard not looking past Golovkin. I hope he can do it and I will be willing him on."
