Carl Frampton (18-0, 13KOs) has a big fight this coming Saturday night at Titanic Quarter in Belfast, when he faces IBF super bantamweight champion Kiko Martinez (31-4, 23KOs) in a rematch. Last February, Frampton knocked out Martinez in the ninth round.
After Martinez, Frampton wants to fight his domestic rival, WBA 'regular' champion Scott Quigg (28-0-2, 21KOs), in a unification. Quigg faces Stephane Jamoye (26-5, 16KOs) in a title defense on September 13th in Manchester.
Frampton-Quigg is one of the biggest matches to be made on UK soil.
"If I remain cool and stick to the game-plan, there's only one winner in this fight," said Frampton to BBC Sport. "After Kiko, there are a few guys to be taken care of in the super bantamweight division. I'd be telling a lie if I said I didn't want to finish all that rubbish with Scott Quigg once and for all. People still think he's better than me. I don't know why."
