De La Hoya told Reuters that he is not going to be baited into a circus-like atmosphere by Mayweather. He plans to show his anger when the two meet on May 5 in Las Vegas.

"I hate the fact that he's a like an out-of-control brat," De La Hoya said. "I don't like creating circus acts. This is not good for me, it's not good for boxing. Let's talk and say what we're going to do, thank the people and hype the fight. But you don't have to act like a brat. I'm hating it inside."

Floyd also hit Gatti with the cheapest most ***** punch ever in boxing. They even tried to show it at the press tours b/c of his lack of other KOs. well before the fight it the ref says protect yourself at all time. it part of the game Oscar fought the BEST of his era. Floyd a few decent names but the twos opposition doesnt even compare. another thing most he lost to Tito and Pernall Whitaker and Chavez where out of there prime. Vargas was shot

You're bitching because Floyd destroyed Gatti in 6 instead of 5? You Floyd-Haters have got to stop this insanity.yeah, and the dumbass is probably basing the fight between floyd and oscar off the their fights with gatti too. he's not even worth arguing with. floyd destroyed gatti out of his prime th efloyd haters claim, then why in the hell was he still boxing then? obviously, he's not as past his prime as he would like to believe. what the floyd haters always seem to forget is how domiate floyd was against gatti in that gatti still possessed power at 140, but he rarely hit floyd. gatti was a human punching bag against floyd, and what the haters also seem to forget how gatti stunned a few times in their fight at 147. oscas has the famous left hook but couldn't stop gatti in oscar's so called prime as well, and that's a compliment to gatti too but his bravado. how about that one though? horseman, why do we even bother to argue with these people on this forum?

Oscar fought Gatti at 147, a division where Gatti couldn't even hang with Baldomir. Floyd fought Gatti at his best weight, 140, where he was a champion... Damn, I just posted something similar to that in another thread. Another fact overlooked in the process of Floyd-Hating.
