A recent trip on the social-networking site Twitter came with the discovery of Floyd Mayweather's fiancé Shantel Jackson taking a clear barb at WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.

Updating her nearly 24,000 followers, Jackson posted a link to a picture of a custom designed T-shirt stated 'Take the test' flanked by a picture of Floyd Mayweather to the left and an image of 'Pac Man' from the popular video games to his right. Along with her link Jackson posted the comment 'The truth and nothing but the truth'.

Everyone by this point pretty much knows what Jackson is referring to, but to those who haven't been keeping pace with the news, Jackson's dig is in reference to Pacquiao's initial reluctance to go through with an Olympic Style drug testing protocol in relation to a possible fight with Mayweather. The two fighters' failure to see eye to eye on the testing issue is what caused a breakdown in their first rounds of negotiations but word is that Pacquiao has since lightened his stance on the issue.

It looks as though Pacquiao and Mayweather will forever be linked to one another but who knows if they will ever get in the ring together or not. Mayweather has been inactive since his drubbing of Shane Mosley last year with a trail of legal troubles following him and Pacquiao is slated to face off with his rival Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12th at the MGM Grand.

Perhaps 'the truth' will never rise to the surface at all.
