Trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. continues to tell everyone that "we are going to see the best Ricky Hatton" on Saturday night in Las Vegas, when the Manchester fighter takes on Paulie Malignaggi.

Mayweather says that he didn't change Hatton's style too much, just polished it up and taught him that he can't rush in and leave himself wide open to punches. He needs to get inside, duck away from punches and make Malignaggi pay.

"I never tried to take nothing from Ricky," Mayweather said. "I feel like he should be aggressive. I want him to be smart when he is aggressive. You can slide over from punches. You don't have to get beat up because you are a gutsy fighter. You have to get in there and make the other guy pay."

Hatton agrees with his new trainer. He says Mayweather will bring out the best in him and promises to show everyone a more "polished" Hatton when he steps in the ring with Malignaggi.

"We've gone back to basics," Hatton said. "Floyd has slowed me down a bit more. I've worked on my jab. I've shown I have got this boxing ability. But sometimes I don't use it. Working with Floyd has brought out the best of me. There will be a lot more method in the madness. You're going to see a lot more polished Ricky Hatton."
