Trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. is not impressed by the skills of WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo' Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs). Golden Boy Promotions wants to make a fight between Canelo and the recognized pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr., on September 14th in Las Vegas.

"I don't think he'll be a problem for Floyd. The weight don't matter [with the fight taking place at 154]....skill wins fight, [not size]. From what I saw of him, I don't see nothing [that impresses me]. The punches that he hit [Trout with], he won't hit Floyd with those punches. If Floyd moves [around the ring] and just touches him, he won't be able to keep up with him. What can he do? I don't see nothing he could do to Floyd," Mayweather Sr. said.
