According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Floyd Mayweather's purse for Saturday's fight with Shane Mosley, will be $22.5 million dollars. Keep in mind this does not include pay per view and other revenue sources.
In other news, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Mosely has been randomly drug tested a total of 11 times and Mayweather has been tested 10 times.
It will be interesting to see, after the fight is over, what the total cost was for the Olympic-style drug testing and if it is feasible for other fights in the future or if the cost is prohibitive.
