Jeff Mayweather, uncle of Floyd Mayweather Jr., recently had a chance to visit his nephew in camp. Floyd is preparing for the May 1 fight with WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley. Jeff, who trains several of his own fighters, doesn't see why people are making such a big deal over Mosley's win over Antonio Margarito. He said his nephew is already looking great in camp.

“I had a chance to see him recently. He looks great already. He looks phenomenal. Believe me it aint going to be nothing like nobody thinks. All of this talk about Shane beating Margarito, who cares? Margarito is a walking punching bag and Mayweather is almost impossible to hit. You are looking at two totally different situations," Jeff told Chris Robinson of The Examiner.

Floyd looks very sharp with his punches, said Jeff. There is still a lot of work to get done, but Jeff thinks his nephew looks ready to fight right now.

“Basically he was just being himself and working out but he was looking very, very sharp and his instinct was there. He looked like he was ready to fight now. He still has a whole lot of work ahead of him but just what I watched it’s kind of like one of those situations where even though he is my nephew I am still amazed when I watch him," Jeff said.
