BoxingScene.com reached out to Juan Urango's sparring partner Gato Figueroa to get his thoughts on Urango's unification bout with Devon Alexander on Saturday night. The junior welterweight contender said Urango looked sharp in sparring.

When asked if he noticed anything different about Urango, Figueroa said it was the same old Urango at first but later he noticed that Urango has increasing his punch output. When pressed for a prediction Figueroa said, "At first I leaned towards Alexander but after I saw a commercial where Alexander said he likes to fight on the inside I changed my mind. That is a big no no. These are 8 ounce gloves, not 16 ounce gloves (sparring size)."
