Up and coming welterweight prospect Fes Batista (1-0) has kept busy since his March 28th victory in his pro debut. The charismatic Brit, who was on the brink of suicide before being saved by the music of Lady Gaga, helped construct a well in India.
Batista, who is half Pakistani and half Indian, recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and vows to continue to help the less fortunate and hopes that Lady Gsga's Little Monster's also give back in their local communities.
"I have built a well in Kashmir that will give a small village clean drinking water. They are used to only having dangerous brown water. It was a bad situation but I used some of the money from my fight to build a well.
"I've always dreamed about building wells around the world and I'm glad to have got it started. My target is to have 100 wells around the world," said Batista.
As for his boxing career, Batista said that he doesn't have an exact date for his ring return but he and his promoter Roy Jones are working on securing a date soon.
"I've been getting offers from all over the world for fights. Me and Roy are working on a few projects. Once they are done I'm pretty sure (Las) Vegas will be next for me," Batista told BoxingScene.com.
