Mariana Caballero makes every move to ensure that her fighters are ready for the next level.

The CEO of Miura Boxing did her best to apply that vision to her latest offering this Saturday on DAZN.

Fernando Molina is an unbeaten lightweight from Guadalajara who will travel to the home region of Mexico City’s Gabriel Jimenez. Their scheduled ten-round headliner – Molina’s first -will take place this Saturday from Sala Urbana in Naucalpan, Mexico.

“We brought this series to DAZN to prove that we can deliver entertaining and competitive fights on a consistent basis,” Caballero told BoxingScene. “This show is a reflection of what we always strive to achieve.”

The bout is the second at the intimate venue for Molina, 11-0-1 (4 KOs). His previous trip here came against Abraham Juarez, an undefeated prospect whom Molina outpointed over eight rounds.

Molina has gone eight rounds in three of his last four starts. His first came against highly-regarded amateur and then-unbeaten Aaron Aponte, whom Molina held to an eight-round, split decision draw in September 2022. The bout was on the undercard of Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s win over Gennadiy Golovkin in their trilogy clash at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The bout was the last in the U.S. for Molina, who fights in his home country for the fourth-straight time.

Jimenez, 11-1 (7 KOs) has fought exclusively in Mexico, and went ten rounds in his previously outing on February 28 in Nezahualcóyotl. The bout marks a step up in class for the 29-year-old, hardly the soft-touch afforded most local fighters.

Saturday’s card also features Queretaro’s Diego Mompar, 9-2-3 (4 KOs), against knockout artist Fernando “Masas” Romero of Puebla, 12-4-0 (11 KOs) in an 8-round lightweight contest.

“We’re building a platform that gives boxers from all over the world the chance to shine,” said Caballero, a former amateur boxer. “This card is a perfect reflection of our vision—Mexican heart, international reach. Expect action, expect passion, expect a night of real boxing.”
