The five-time world champion in three different weight divisions, Felix 'Tito' Trinidad, has come out and said that he will never fight again and dedicates his time to his wife and family. For a few years, Trinidad tried to chase a rematch with Bernard Hopkins, but at this point he doesn't ever plan to step inside a ring as a fighter.

"I've gone been three years without a fight. I'm very, very rusty but healthy. Before when I was fighting, I would rest for a week and then hit the gym. Now for three years I have not done anything. It is difficult to go back. It is the first time that I've gone so long without doing anything. I am dedicated to my girls, my wife and I spend my time with them. I'm like [Roberto] Duran ... no more," he said to BoxingScene.com/Sport Press.

Trinidad, who is hovering around the 180 pounds, had his last fight in January 2008 when he came out of retirement and lost to Roy Jones Jr. by unanimous decision.

The Puerto Rican slugger had originally retired in 2002 after knocking out Hacine Cherifi and returned in 2004 to beat Ricardo Mayorga, but retired again in May 2005 after his decision loss to Winky Wright. He took a long break before retunring in 2008 for the fight with Jones Jr.

At age 38, Trinidad leaves behind an impressive record of 42-3 with 35 knockouts, and plans to pursue other ventures.
