Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - In a battle which took place at 142-pounds, Olympic gold medal winner Felix Diaz (17-0, 8KOs) picked up a ten round unanimous deision, by way of scores 97-91, 96-92 and 98-90, over Gabriel Bracero (23-2, 4KOs). Some of the action was close, but the tide turned in the eight, when Diaz scored a knockdown. In the ninth, Diaz landed a big left hand that sent Bracero down for a second time.
Olympic light heavyweight prospect Marcus Browne (14-0, 11KOs) handed out a one-sided beating to Aaron Pryor Jr. (19-8-1, 12KOs) for a TKO after six. Pryor was punished round after round and possibly suffered some facial damage. A doctor took a look at him before the start of the seventh and waved off the fight.
Very talented Olympian Errol Spence Jr. (16-0, 13KOs) dominated and beat down Samuel Vargas (20-2-1, 10KOs) for a fourth round stoppage. Spence controlled the entire first, let his hands go to score a knockdown in the second and gave Vargas a one-sided beating in the third. As the beating continued in the fourth round, with Vargas barely able to get away from the incoming shots, the referee jumped in to wave the fight off.
