Executives from Acquinity Sports visited the Dominican Republic in March and secured three big hitters for their company - including light heavyweight prospect Lenin Castillo 5-0-0 (3 KO's), top lightweight contender Argenis Mendez 19-2-0 (10 KO's) and welterweight Olympian Felix Diaz 10-0-0 (6 KO's)
Promoter Henry Rivalta, along with the CEO Gary Jonas and former heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs, all of Acquinity Sports, are very happy with signing the three young boxers who will join their team of fighters - which includes former two division titlist Joan Guzmán, extraordinary Ed Paredes, Claudio Marrero and Juan Carlos Payano.
“We are building up a team that very soon will be in the rankings of the best world organizations in boxing. These young people injects [a lot of] skill and power to our team. Joan Guzmán as the captain, along with Paredes, Marrero and Payano - are all happy with the arrival of their countrymen,” Rivalta said.
“Next week we will announce the entire card for our upcoming event at The Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fla. Since we always come with the best of our team, we are sure that the fights [we plan to present] to the public will please the fans as we've always done in the past."
