Undefeated Felix Alvarado (18-0, 15KOs) is getting in the best possible condition to face WBC junior flyweight champion Kazuto Ioka (13-0, 9 KOs) of Japan on December 31st at the Bodymaker Colosseum in Osaka, Japan.
Alvarado has gone through a very hard training camp to grasp the opportunity to defeat one of the best boxers in the lower weight divisions. No lack of activity. Alvarado has already fought three times in 2013 and won all three by knockout in less than three rounds. Ioka fought twice this year, against much tougher competition, and also won both by knockout.
"Ioka can holds his own. He is a good fighter, a great champion. I know it will not be an easy fight, but I worked hard to get myself to the title. I will be going back home as a champion. This preparation that led me to this fight is the best that I have ever had. I am strong, confident and I will do everything in my power to get myself the world title," Alvarado reiterated.
