JEWBOY PROMOTIONS in association with NORTHEAST PROMOTIONS brings the popular ESPN2 “Wednesday Night at the Fights” fight series to the City Auditorium in Colorado Springs, CO Wednesday, July 5th, 2006.
Headlining this all star card will be the always popular Jesse Feliciano 14-5-3 ( 8) KO’S Las Vegas, NV taking on “Irish” Neil Sinclair 28-4 ( 23KO’S) Belfast, IRE in a 10 round welterweight contest.
Feliciano is coming off a highly disputed draw against “Contender” star Alfonso Gomez which was seen on ESPN May 4th of this year. Most at ringside thought Feliciano deserved the decision. Previous to that fight Feliciano stepped in on short notice and defeated former world champion Vince Phillips, a fight which was also televised on ESPN2 March 17th, 2006.
Sinclair is a former British Welterweight champion who has been inactive for almost 16 months. Sinclair has challenged for a world title losing to WBO champion Daniel Santos back in December of 2000. Sinclair also has a fan friendly style which will make for a great fight between he and Feliciano.
Slated for the co-feature will be local prospect Marvin “Much 2Much” Cordova Jr. 10-0 (6) KO’S Rocky Ford, CO as he defends his GBU Youth Jr. Welterweight title against an opponent to be named. Also scheduled to appear are David Medina and Chantell Cordova plus 2 other bouts.
