Dm-Arena in Karlsruhe, Germany - WBA “interim” super middleweight champion Vincent Feigenbutz (21-1, 19 KOs) had a very tough time in winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Giovanni De Carolis (23-6, 11 KOs). The score of 115-113 was identical by all three judges.

Feigenbutz is gaining some steam with local fans, but he seemed to have a lot of issues with the boxing style of De Carolis and some ringside observers felt the bout was closer to a draw or should have been scored in the other direction.

A deal was reached earlier this year for Feigenbutz to fight WBA “regular” super middleweight champion Dmitry Chudinov, but then the WBA ordered Chudinov to face Felix Sturm in a rematch - which takes place in December. The winner of that rematch must face Feibenbutz by the first week of April.

Heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev (21-1, 11 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over George Arias (56-14, 42 KOs). It was Pulev's first bout since suffering a knockout defeat to heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko last November.

Lightweight contender Richard Commey (23-0, 21 KOs) continued his run with an easy stoppage of late replacement Kakhaber Avetisian (41-32-1, 23 KOs) in five rounds.

Enrico Koelling (19-1) won an eight round unanimous decision over Karel Horejsek (4-4).
