Sports Palace "Znamya", Noginsk, Russia - Fedor Chudinov (10-0, 8 KOs) marched through yet another (relatively) famed veteran, stopping former world title challenger Stjepan Bozic (28-8, 19 KOs) after five complete rounds.
Chudinov, 26, was in firm control of the fight from the opening bell. He was gradually taking Bozic, 39, apart, using his jab and multi-punch combos. Scores were 40-36, 40-36 and 39-36 after for rounds. At the end of the fifth, Chudinov landed a powerful left hand to the solar plexus, which put Bozic down. He beat the count but surrendered in his corner during a following break.
Chudinov grabbed a vacant WBC CISBB super middleweight title with this convincing performance.
---------------
Russian middleweight champion Arif Magomedov (10-0, 7 KOs) made a very quick work of his Serbian opponent Slavisa Simeunovic (12-7, 10 KOs), dropping him three times with different punches in just 90 seconds of the very first round. Magomedov is in search of better opponents from now on.
---------------
Light heavyweight Alexey Stakanchikov (3-1, 2 KOs) landed a couple of punches, the last being a hard right to the body, which finished badly overmatched Serbian import Misha Nikolic (18-26-2, 8 KOs) in less than a minute.
---------------
Belarussian flyweight Ekaterina Izotova (3-0-1, 1 KO) stopped much smaller Hungarian Agnese Draxler (6-5), hardly a mini-flyweight herself, in three rounds. Draxler landed just a single meaningful punch at the end of the first, then was badly beaten to the punch, cut over her nose and dropped down with a hard right hand midst into the third for the contest to be halted.
