It was an evening of short bouts and quick demolitions at the newly opened Floyd Mayweather Boxing Academy in the luxurious village of Zhukovka, several kilometers to the west of Moscow.

The event was promoted by Oleg Zhadobin of the Boxing Academy and co-organized by Russian boxing impressario Oleg Bogdanov.

In the main event, IBF #9 cruiserweight Ruslan Fayfer (20-0, 14 KOs) got his second kayo win this year by taking out Ugandan veteran David Basajjimivule (16-4-1, 11 KOs) in four.

Fayfer, 26, dropped  his opponent with a quick one-two in the first, then decked him with a wide left hook in the second round. Basajjimivule, 38, somehow managed to last through the third without being dropped but was on the receiving end of Fayfer's punches. The end came at 1:20 of the fourth after yet another knockdown by  Fayfer. The rising Russian added a vacant WBA Asia 200lb title to an already owned IBF International belt. The Ugandan has been stopped just once before that - against world-rated light heavyweight Isaac Chilemba.

It was quick and brutal, when heavyweight kayo artist Rostislav Plechko got his first career title, the Russian national belt, by destroying former titleholder Vladimir Goncharov (5-6, 4 KOs) in just eight seconds. Goncharov was rocked early on, and was knocked out on his feet after a few more punches by Plechko. Referee Evgueny Gorstkov was a bit late in stopping the fight, as Goncharov ate some extra unnecessary punches.

Plechko, 28, who fought all over Europe (including Latvia, Estonia, Finland and France) got his tenth consecutive first-round kayo. He went one more round only in his debut fight. Plechko is 11-0, 11 KOs, and looks unstoppable. Goncharov, 33, lost his sixth straight and the third time in a row he lost it via the first-rond TKO.

In the tourney's only fight that went the distance, Uzbek import Ulugbek Xakberdiev (3-0, 1 KO) decisioned former Russian light middleweight champion Pavel Mamontov (11-4-2, 1 KO) over eight with a unanimous decision.

Rising Uzbek star Shoxzhahon Ergashev got his fifth consecutive first-round TKO when he blitzed Tajik import Sunatollo Rakhmatulloev (1-6). Ergashev is just eighteen years of age (he debuted on Dec. 23 in 2015, just eleven days past his 17th birthday) but he is already 9-0, 9 KOs, with some wins over durable journeymen.

Other results:
Dmitry Miliusha (8-0-1, 3 KOs) TKO 2 Alexander Saltykov (10-42-3, 5 KOs)
Evgueny Makarchuk (2-0, 1 KO) TKO 2 Ilya Oykin
