IBF super featherweight champion Mzonke Fana (30-4, 12 KOs) will defend his title against mandatory challenger Argenis Mendez (18-1, 9 KOs) on June 11 at Carnival City in Brakpan, South Africa, according to a report in SuperSport. Fana won the vacant title when he defeated Cassisus Baloyi last September. Mendez became the mandatory after he beat Baloyi in January of this year with a dominating decision. Branco Milenkovic of Branco Sports Productions will stage the event.
