Featherweight Joebar Damosmog, one of over twenty victims of IBF No. 4 super bantamweight Fahsang 3K Battery has revealed that the Thai opponent of Ring Magazine featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao "has power and a dangerous left straight and left hook" but predicted that the superior power and speed of Pacquiao will prevail in their December 11 clash titled "Yanig sa Taguig" at an open air arena in front of MC Home Depot at The Fort. The record shows that a majority of Fahsang’s Filipino opponents lost by KO or TKO.

In an interview with Viva Sports/Manila Standard at the Wild Card Gym in BF Homes, Paranaque where he helped Fahsang in his workout, Damosmog recalled his sixth round knockout loss to the Thai fighter on July 18 last year in an IBF Pan Paciific Super Bantamweight championship bout in Nakornsrithamarat saying he was decked in the very first round before being knocked out in the sixth with a solid left straight.

Damosmog said Fahsang doesn’t run away but likes to "stand in front of you and fight" which he may not do against Pacquiao who could be deadly in the opening rounds as evidenced by the three knockdowns against WBA/IBF featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez last May. Damosmog observed that Fahsang was in "good condition" which appears to contrast with Pacquiao whose training has been interrupted by variious other activities.

Pacquiao was scheduled to fly to Manila from his hometown of General Santos yesterday reportedly to sign a contract with ABS-CBN for a TV show with action star Robin Padilla and to also record promotional radio sports for the December 11 fight. Pacquiao claimed during the press conference that he was down to 130 pounds but this was seriously doubted by boxing writers who said the "People’s Champion" looked overweight and around 136 pounds which means he would have to step up training to make the 126 pound limit on December 10, the day of the official weigh-in. Pacquiao has reportedly been working out but so far hasn’t sparred.

He is scheduled to return to General Santos today and then proceed to Kidapawan to train in the farm of Lito Mondejar of Team Pacquiao along with Philippine lightweight champion Fernando Montilla who will serve as one of Pacquiao’s sparring partners.
