IPSWICH, England – Fabio Wardley and Justis Huni were both at career-heavy weights as they hit the scales on Friday ahead of their heavyweight contest at Portman Road on Saturday evening.

They will collide for the WBA interim title at the home of Ipswich Town, Wardley’s favorite soccer team. Huni has traveled from Australia for on four weeks’ notice after Wardley’s original opponent Jarrell Miller withdrew with a shoulder injury.

Wardley came in at 243lbs – and therefore weighing 1.5lbs more than his past contest, a first-round knockout victory of Frazer Clarke. Huni also hit the scales at a career high of 248lbs, which perhaps is little surprise given he is a replacement opponent.
