Tomorrow night at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, former world champion featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich (19-1-1, 9KOs) of Russia will return to the ring for the first time since losing his belt to Lee Selby on May 30th of this year.
The card will be headlined by an HBO televised bout with WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford making the first defense of his title against 33-year-old Canadian contender Dierry Jean.
Gradovich will take on 34-year-old Brazilian Aldimar Santos over eight rounds.
"I feel fine, ready for battle," shared Gradovich. "My training camp before this fight lasted 12 weeks. I even began to train in July, because I love doing this. During my preparation, my manager Egis Klimas called me with the date of the fight and the name of the opponent."
"I've wanted to return to the ring for a long time and I am very happy that soon I'll be able to do just that. I will try to put on a good show for all the fans who support me and those who are concerned about me.
