Turkish heavyweight Sinan Samil Sam has returned to Universum and will be trained by Fritz Sdunek. Sam, then with Sauerland Event, looked pretty flat when he was outboxed by Oleg Maskaev in a WBC eliminator in November of last year. He is managed by Ahmet Oner.

Palm, who fought his entire career for Mogens Palle and later worked as an assistant and trainer for Palle, feels the time is right for fitness.dk to make a step into professional boxing.

German welterweight Alpaslan Aguzum, inactive since being stopped by Carlos Baldomir, in 2004, has put out a press release where he says his agent is now Thorsten Knelle. Aguzum have previously been signed to Sauerland Event but have made it public on his homepage that there is a contractual dispute.
