Nothing is confirmed but EBU heavyweight champ Paolo Vidoz from Italy could be making his mandatory defense against challenger, Brit Michael Sprott, on October 1 in Germany with Sauerland Event promoting. The winner is then to take on Cengiz Koc in a voluntary defense. Purse bids for Vidoz vs Sprott should have been held Tuesday July 12 but the parties now have until July 18 to reach an agreement.

EU cruiser champ Krzysztof Wlodarczyk´s defense against German Firat Arslan will now go ahead on September 17 in Rzeszow. Heavyweight Tomasz Bonin will also be on the bill and possibly fighters from the Norwegian Viking Boxing Promotions.

Hungarian Felix-Promotion is working hard towards a big show on September 10 in Debrecen, topped by highly ranked jr lightweight Janos Nagy. Middleweight Joszef Nagy (no relation) is featured on the undercard and so is newly crowned IBF Int´l 154 lb champ Laszlo Buranyi.

Polish lightweight Matt Zegan have been signed up by Don King Productions. Zegan was the official challenger for the vacant EBU title and his former promoter, Hammer Knockout, even had an agreement for a fight against Belorussian Yuri Romanov but that is now off.

EU lightheavy champ Elvis Michalenko´s defence against Italian Antonio Brancalion goes ahead on October 25 in Vienna on a show promoted by Spotlight Boxing.

Italian jr welter Gianluca Branco takes on Frenchman Mounir Guebbas (who just upset Ali Ahraoui in Germany), on July 22 in Campione d´Italia on the undercard to Abis
vs Guisset (IBF Int´l 147).

EU 160 lb champ Lorenzo Di Giacomo´s defense against Brit Wayne Pinder set for July 22 has been postponed due to an injury to Di Giacomo. The fight might now
happen in September.

Frenchman Bernard Inom has been named as  the mandatory challenger to EBU 112 lb champ Ivan Pozo of Spain.
