There are negotiations for an unification fight between WBA light heavyweight champ Fabrice Tiozzo and WBO counterpart Zsolt Erdei. "In my eyes it´s the best possible fight for both men" states promoter Michel Acaries. It´s a complicated deal though as it involves an interim title (or for the "standard" WBA title) fight between Tiozzo´s mandatory contender, Italian veteran Silvio Branco, and Puerto Rican Manny Siaca as well.
It´s "All or Nothing" on April 22 in Mannheim when IBF champ Chris Byrd defends the title against Wladimir Klitschko in what will be a co-promotion between K 2 and Sauerland Event.
Hungarian Felix-Promotion have its EBA champs keeping busy on February 18 in Tapolca. Joszef Nagy takes on Frenchman Pierre Moreno at supermiddle while jr middle Attila Kovacs takes on unknown Egyptian Ahmed Mustafa.
French jr middleweight Christophe Canclaux next appears on the undercard to WBA champ Nikolai Valuev´s April 1 defense.
