EBU cruiserweight champ David Haye makes a voluntary defense of the title he won from Aleksander Gourov, against Dane Lasse Johansen on March 24 in London.
Sauerland Event´s CEO Chris Meyer disputes media reports that WBA heavyweight champ Nikolai Valuev would face the winner of Matt Skelton vs. Danny Williams. Meyer writes in a press release that neither are in the running and conludes they can´t be - as neither are ranked by the WBA. Valuev is to defend the title in April in Germany.
IBO jr middleweight titleholder Mihaly Kotai face Brit Steve Conway on March 3 In Hartlepool. Kotai lost to Conway on points (by a wide margin) in December in a non-title fight, On the undercard Gregorz Proksa goes for the WBC Youth 160 lb title.
WBF jr middleweight ruler Joszef Matolcsi takes on Frenchman Brice Faradji on February 24 in London in a rematch. Faradji then vacated the title to allow Matolsci vs Hinteregger III to take place.
Florida-based Swedish welter Benjamin Kalinovic will next fight on the "The Oklahoma City Slug Out" show on for February 25 in OKC.
