Turkish heavyweight Sinan Samil Sam has replaced stablemate Luan Krasnigi as the mandatory challenger for EBU heavyweight champ Paolo Vidoz. The deadline for purse offers or an agreement is March 21 at noon. Sam, now back with Universum, takes on Brazilian George Arias on April 8 in Kiel.
 
Danish bantamweight Johnny Bredahl begins his comeback on March 30 at the KB Hall in Copenhagen when he headlines a Bettina Palle promotion. The former WBA champ will go for the vacant WBO I/C title. Also on the bill is featherweight Spend Abazi and welterweight Christian Bladt.
 
The legal problems that were hinted at, when I interviewed Belgian Ismail Abdoul, were apparently not bad as Ismail thought and he´s reportedly now back in custody. He is still booked to fight Don Diego Poeder on April 23 in Gent for the vacant EU cruiserweight title but that date might not stick.
 
Among the ringside spectators for Abraham vs Taylor Saturday night in Oldenburg, was Dutchman Raymond Joval. Joval is still having problems with his neck injury, but is on his way back.
 
German jr. middleweight Marco Schulze is back in full training for his upcoming defense of the IBF I/C title against Dillon Carew on March 25 in Oranienburg. The show was originally set for February 25, but Marco had to pull out due to an injury. Schulze is for this fight trained by Torsten Schmitz.
