WIBF jr. flyweight champ Julia Sahin will defend her title against American Hollie Dunaway on June 30 in Stuttgart on the same show as WBA middleweight titleholder Felix Sturm and GBU jr bantam queen Alesia Graf. Also on the bill are Russian super middleweight Denis Inkin and Ukrainian heavyweight Taras Bidenko - both will defend their respective belts, the WBC Int´l and the WBA I/C. Bidenko´s opponent is no other than Dutchman Richel Hersisia.
 
Sauerland Event is banging the drum for a unification fight between IBF ruler Arthur Abraham and WBA´s Felix Sturm. It´s a natural and could happen during the next season.
 
12rounds in Poland have a pretty impressive undercard lined up to the Adamek vs. Pineda IBO title fight at cruiserweight June 9 in Katowice. At super middleweight Piotr Wilczewski and Djamel Selini fight for the TWBA title, heavyweight veteran Andrew Golota returns against Jeremy Bates, also back in action is Russian welterweight Ivan "the Terrible" Kirpa. Don King Productions have Croatian heavyweight Mario Preskar on the bill and possibly also lightweight Matt Zegan.
 
WBC Int´l cruiser champ Rudolf Kraj headlines Spotlight Boxing´s show in Maribor, Slovenia, June 12. Kraj´s challenger was to have been Swiss Nuri Seferi but he is sidelined with an injury. Welter Jan Zaveck, Slovenian but fighting out of Magdeburg with SES, defends the WBO I/C title against Argentinian Jorge Daniel Miranda. Zaveck also have a EU titlefight lined up June 23 but is not likely to go through with that one. As a third headliner Spotlight feature another SES boxer, jr. middleweight Lukas Konecny, who defends his WBO I/C belt. At lightheavy Aleksyi Kuziemsky face Ladislav Kutil.
 
Russian cruiserweight prospect Aleksander Alekseev will fight June 16 in Budapest on the Erdei vs Blades bill.
 
EBU middleweight champ Amin Asikainen closed out a busy day in Stockholm, Sweden, yesterday with a sparring session against amateur ace Badou Jack. Amin is now in Riga, Latvia, for final preparations for his June 23 fight against Sebastian Sylvester.
 
EBU female featherweight title holder Galina Ivanova outboxed Miryam Chomaz on May 29 in Pont Audemer to retain the title and manager Philippe Fondu is looking to have Ivanova contest for the WBA crown. Also on the Pont Audemer bill were Serbian Geard Ajetovic, who showed great fighting spirit in outscoring Robert Roselia over ten.
