Callum Johnson (18-1) and Igor Mikhalkin (23-2) will clash for the vacant EBU light heavyweight title on March 7 in Manchester on a Matchroom promotion - at least according to the EBU.
Mikhalkin won the IBO interim title in his last fight but was stripped of the belt when the "real" champ and Igor´s stablemate in EC Boxing, Sven Fornling, became fit for fight after an injury and then lost the title to Dominic Boesel.
As for Johnson, he came back after the loss to Artur Beterbiev with a good win over Sean Monaghan but in Mikhalkin, a very slick southpaw, he will have his hands full.
IBO welter champ Sebastian Formella (21-0) defends the title as previously reported on January 18 in Hamburg.
Today (Dec 17) it was announced that the opponent will be Nicaraguan Roberto Arriaza (18-1). Arriaza´s sole loss came against Egidijus Kavaliuskas and that was last year. He came back this fall and beat Addir Sanchez.
In the chief support on this SES and EC co-promotion heavyweights Peter Kadiru and Tomas Salek clash for the vacant WBC Youth title.

Former WBA interim super middleweight champ Vincent Feigenbutz (31-2) will now be trained by Torsten Schmitz, who previously coached the likes of Armand Krajnc, Luan Krasniqi, Robert Stieglitz and Regina Halmich.
Only last month it was announced that Vincent would be trained by Ulli Wegner but he is sidelined with an injury. Vincent was previously trained by Hans-Peter Brenner and then by Karsten Rover, who was followed by Valentin Silaghi.
Feigenbutz is ranked # 3 by the IBF and will according to BILD have a tuneup in the United States early next year and then challenge IBF champ Caleb Plant in the summer.
