Pablo "Huracan" Navascues won the vacant TWBA I/C jr middle title with an unanimous points win over former EBU welter champ Christian Bladt on October 21 in Madrid. The bout was a supporting bout on the Tundra vs Barcelo card. In the co-headliner, Franklin Theran won the WBO I/C 122 lb crown with a sixth round stoppage of Yersin Jailauov.
Belgian middle Bendele Ilunga upset Frenchman Denis Saioni on Oct 21 in Nice and won the TWBA title on a ninth round stoppage.
Female super middleweight Natascha Ragosina will take on Tanzanian Monica Mwakasanga on October 29 in Oranienburg and not Kenyan Conjestina Achieng, who has pulled out due to injury.
Danish super middleweight Martin Nielsen has now confirmed longtime rumors in an interview with newsagency Ritzau: he is 50/50 on retiring due to the bad financial circumstances in the current Danish boxing scene. Nielsen works fulltime at the Kastrup Airport and can now pay the bills - something he had problems with as a fulltime pro.
Swedish heavyweight Aldo Colliander takes on Russian Almaz Gismeev on December 10 in Helsinki. The card is promoted by King´s Talli Promotion.

Jr. middleweight Attila Kovacs takes on Frenchman Mamadou Thiam on October 29 in Szentes in a defense of the EBA title while Joszef Nagy, EBA champ at 160, moves up to 168 and takes on Brit Danny Thornton for the vacant EBA belt in that weight division.
