42-year old former WBA super lightweight and welterweight titlist Souleyman M'Baye (42-5-1) continues his comeback on June 10 and goes for the French 147 lb title against reigning champ Karim Aliliche (9-6-2).

M´Baye held the French super lightweight title back in 2001 before moving on to bigger things. He first won a world title in 2004 and his last challenge was in 2013. He returned to action last year and the fight against Aliliche is his third since coming back.

It´s official: German heavyweight Michael Wallisch (16-0) will make his debut for Sauerland Event May 13 in Karlsruhe on the undercard to Vicent Feigenbutz´s defence of the IBF I/C title against Dennis Sirotkin.

Wallish last fought early in 2016 then representing SES. When Wallisch turned pro in 2010 he was with EC Boxing and contractual disputes along with legal problems have caused some layoffs for the former German and WBO Euro champ, who is now trained by Ulli Wegner.

Opponent in Karlsruhe is Andre Bunga (4-8-1). Also on the bill is cruiserweight Alexander Peil (8-0) and Juergen Braehmer trained super middle Denis Radovan (3-0).

Spanish website espabox.com reports that former national bantam champ Saul Tejeda´s health appears to be improving. Tejeda suffered a bad head injury when he lost the title in October of last year and was kept in an induced coma for a long time.

He is now in a hospital in Sevilla and is making progress. His family reports he is now recognizing people, smiles and his ability to speak is improving. There is a long way to go still but the doctors are optimistic of further improvements.

Cruisers Roman Golovashchenko (17-1) and Kai Kurzawa (37-5) clash for the vacant IBO I/C and WBCA world titles on May 6 at the Ice Stadium in Weisswasser (Germany) on a Peter Pelk promotion. Kurzawa´s last fight was against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk and was stopped in four. Golovashchenko have been a pro since 2007 but it´s only in the last year his career has taken off.
