Danilo Haussler v Cristian Sanavia for the vacant WBA I/C 168 lb title is again postponed and again due to illness of the German. They were to have fought April 23 and then again May 14.
Vitaly Tsypko v Brian Magee for the vacant EBU 168 lb title have been rescheduled for July 16 with site remaining Kiev. Tsypko suffered a back injury last week which led to a postponement of the original May 27 date.
It´s likely to be Brit Michael Sprott that will be co-challenger for the vacant EBU heavyweight title with German Timo Hoffmann in the other corner. Sprott, EU champ, is ranked # 4 in the ratings but # 1 Wladimir Klitschko and # 2 Sinan Samil Sam have other plans while # 3 Matt Skelton is ineligible as he holds a "world" title (WBU) and is also booked to fight Danny Williams in the summer. Sprott beat Hoffmann back in 01 and lost the return match controversially and is fresh off a win over Timo´s stablemate at Sauerland Event, Cengiz Koc.
Dirk Dzemski gets Tanzanian Said Yasidu as opponent June 4 in Ashersleben as he goes for the vacant NBA 160 lb title - the belt he held for three years before losing to Sebastian Sylvester. Hungarian Mihaly Kotai takes on Argentinian Raul Bejarano for the vacant IBO 154 lb title. Kotai´s WBF belt is not at stake. Also on the bill are jr middles Lukas Konecny and Norman Schuster.
EBU 122 lb ruler Simone Maludrottu´s defence against Vadim Metelev that was originally set for May 13 have been put back to May 27 or 28 due to problems with securing a TV date.
EU bantam champ, Belgian Carmelo Ballone, face Hungarian Robert Isazegi June 11 in Charleroi.
