Czech jr. middleweight Lukas Konecny headlines Spotlight Boxing´s EuroSport show in Prague on October 10. Also on the bill is Konecny´s stablemate Robert Stieglitz, who is mandatory challenger for Joe Calzaghe´s IBF title.
EBU super middleweight champ Mger Mkrtchyan´s defense against Russian Devi Gogiya will now go ahead on September 23 in Kiev, Ukraine, as a part of National Box Promotion´s big show. In the other headliners Zaur Baysangurov takes on Marco Antonio Rubio for the WBC Int´l 154 lb title and welter Yuri Nuzhnenko defends the WBA I/C title against tough Russian veteran Maxim Nesterenko.
Former WBA and EBU jr welter champ Khalid Rahilou returns on October 7 on a show in Marrakech, Morocco, where he now resides. Rahilou retired in 2002. Super middleweight Jackson Chanet and lightweight Jean Nicolas Weigel are also on the bill.
Unbeaten Slovenian welter Jan Zaveck, the reigning WBO I/C champ, appears to be heading for the US. Zaveck have previously been promoted by SES in Germany and showed steady improvement.
WIBF super middleweight champ Natascha Ragosina, currently sidelined with a hand injury, is likely to return November 11 in Berlin.
This year´s edition, the 13th, of the Bep van Klaveren Memorial in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, will be an amateur show only.
