Nice to read that WBA and WBC supermiddle champ Mikkel Kessler digs the Sopranos. Kessler seems to keep the same high class in and outside of the ropes. Same can´t be said for stablemate Rudy Markussen, # WBO 1 super middleweight, who blow it all when he fell apart against tough Russian Sergey Tatevosyan. Another super middleweight who had a bad night in Copenhagen was Danilo Haussler, who looked as if he is through as a title threat of any kind with his disputed win over Sergey Kharchenko. As for former WBC ruler Markus Beyer, retirement seems like the only option.
EBU cruiserweight champ David Haye defends against Italian Giacobbe Fragomeni onNovember 17 in London in what is also a WBC eliminator. Fragomeni holds a win over Haye in the amateurs.

Swedes Robert Nordman and Wally Munteanu were on hand in the Parken Arena for Kessler vs. Beyer. The two plan to stage the first professional boxing event in Sweden in over 37 years when they promote at the Liseberg Hall in Gothenburg on January 20. They made some valuable contacts in Copenhagen but the question is still open for what will be allowed. Some are very optimistic but, facts remain that the new martial arts laws clearly refers to amateur boxing for guidelines regarding safety.
