Ukrainian super middleweight Stas Kashtanov defends the WBC Youth title against Belgian Michel Henrotin on November 4 in Monte Carlo in a solid matchup. Kashtanov´s stablemates from Union Boxing Team in Donetsk, light weightweight Andrey Kudryavtsev and welterweight Vyacheslav Senchenko are also on the bill.
French welterweight Nicolas Guisset takes on Rafael Jackiewicz on October 28 in Debica, Poland, in the headliner of Hammer Knockout´s first show of the season. It´s a defense of Jackiewicz´s IBC title.
Polish super middleweight Piotr Wilczewski takes on Kimfuta Makussu on October 20 in Wloclawek on a show promoted by Boxing Europe and Glormax. Heavyweight veteran Przemyslaw Saleta is scheduled to appear on the undercard.
Ex-WBO middleweight champ Armand Krajnc went public with his plans to return just before Kessler vs Beyer on October 14 and said he wanted to fight the winner. Krajnc had an offer to fight Lolenga Mock on the undercard, but declined as he felt he didn´t have enough time to prepare. As it was, Mock was left without a fight when his opponent, Antonio Quicanga, a last minute sub, got stuck on the Oporto airport.
Former EBU jr. middleweight title holder Mourad Louati is now entering the music business as co-promoter for Groupe Orient on their gig in Leiden, the Netherlands, on October 27. Louati is still active as a trainer and says he has a couple of promising kids.
