WBO lightheavy champ Zsolt Erdei´s defense against Frenchman Medhi Sahnoune will be reschuled for the early fall and could end up on Universum´s show in Karlsruhe on September 10. There is also a big show set for Hamburg later that month and features heavyweight Alexander Dimitrenko.
Spotlight Boxing from Hamburg won the purse bids to stage EU lightheavy champ Elvis Michalenko´s mandatory defenze against Italian Antonio Brancalion. The date and site is to be announced. Spotlight´s first show of the new season is set for Prague, Czech Republic, on September 20.

Hungarian jr middle Mihaly Kotai has vacated the WBF title, but remains the IBO champ at 154. Fighting for the vacant WBF bauble is Kotai´s compatriot and stablemate Joszef Matolcsi, who takes on Frenchman Brice Faradji in Manchester on July 8.
