Finnish middleweight Amin Asikainen takes on experienced Frenchman Christophe Tendil for the vacant EU title on May 5 in Helsinki. Junior welterweight Juho Tolppola squares off against Pole Krzysztof Bienias in the co-headliner in another solid matchup. Norwegian super bantamweight Reidar Walstad is on the undercard.
Junior middleweight Zauerbek Baysangurov takes on Hungarian Laszlo Buranyi in the headliner of National Boxing Promotion´s show on April 8 in Kiev. Swedish heavyweight Aldo Colliander, in Kiev since weeks training under Alexander Likhter, squares off against Andriy Oliynik on the undercard.
Latvian heavyweight Edgar Kalnars begins a new career on March 31 in Potsdam when he takes on the role as hometown hero after years on the road. Kalnars have been stopped by the likes of Sami Elovaara, Andrey Fedosov and Oleg Platov. But he gave Sinan Samil Sam a very tough fight and scored upset wins against Mario Stein and especially over Frenchman Cyril Seror. Kalnars is now handled by Elite Promotions with Paddy Fitzpatrick as trainer.
