German cruiserweight Firat Arslan has pulled out of the EU title fight that was scheduled for September 24 in Poland, against defending champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. All other available challengers have turned down the offer to take on Wlodarczyka and according to Hammer Knockout Promotion´s head Andrew Wasilewski, most didn´t even ask about money. Wlodarczyk will now take on a yet to be named American opponent on the show and the card has been moved to Katowice. Heavyweight Tomasz Bonin returned from Chicago on September 7 after sparring with fighters such as Vaughn Bean, but suffered a back injury and might be off the bill.
Spanish jr middleweight Pablo Navascues clashes with Dane Christian Bladt on October 21 in Alcobendas (Madrid) for the vacant WBF I/C 154 lb title. Co-headlining is super bantamweight Franklin Theran taking on Kazachstan´s Yersin Jailaouv for the WBO I/C crown. Also on the bill is mini flyweight Rafael Lozano.
Polish light heavyweight Dawid Kostecki goes for the vacant WBF title on October 15 in Rzeszow against Belgian Ismael Abdoul.
IBO jr middleweight champ Mihaly Kotai will defend against Argentinian dangerman Sebastian Lujan on September 23 in Manchester.
Spanish Rimer Boxe will stage the fight for the vacant EBU 135 lb title between Italian veteran Stefano Zoff and Juan Carlos Diaz Melero on November 4. Site is to be announced.
