David Benavidez has no shortage of HUGE fights on his radar. In an exclusive interview with BoxingScene, Jose Benavidez Sr. makes it clear that David still wants the biggest names at 175lbs including Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev. Benavidez has previously said those are two fights he wants to make as he pursues more titles and major challenges. But there’s another name that could make things very interesting: Andy Ruiz Jr. Jose discusses the possibility of an all-Mexican showdown between Benavidez and the former heavyweight champion, along with David’s plans across multiple divisions. And with a potential Jai Opetaia showdown also building after the pair came face-to-face following Opetaia’s latest victory, Benavidez has some massive options ahead.

ProboxTV’s championship series is now on the ProBoxTV YouTube channel for $5/month.

Everything is all right for "Das Rematch", Robin Krasniqi's long awaited rematch against Dominic Boesel on Saturday October 9 in Magdeburg in what is a true crossroads fight for both veterans. The WBA Interim bauble is gone but the IBO light heavyweight title is on the line and the winner will go ahead to more lucrative paydays while the loser will have a long way back.
Krasniqi (51-6) is a favorite with the bookmakers based on the first fight but the ending was a bit controversial with the referee ruling the first knockdown a slip. Boesel (31-2) got up a bit groggy and was nailed right away. However, this is a 50/50 fight.
On the undercard 21-year old heavyweight Viktor Jurk will make his debut. Jurk did about 150 rounds of sparring with former champ Anthony Joshua and is trained by Christian Morales, who also trains Peter Kadiru.

Tahar Ben Hassen, one of the best fighters ever from Tunisia, has passed away at the age of 80. Ben Hassan was an excellent amateur, military world champion in 1961 and fought in both the 1960 and 1964 Olympics before turning pro in 1966 but now fighting out of Paris, France.
Tunisia was however always close to Ben Hassen's heart and he refused to become a French citizen and always had a Tunisian flag in his corner fighting all over Europe compiling a 26-8-3 record. He retired in 1974 after a bad loss to David Kotey when he for once was able to fight at home in Tunis.
Ben Hassen scored the best win of his career in 1971 when he knocked out Cuban Jose Legra in Madrid. He also fought Mexican great Clemente Sanchez and the likes of Miguel Velazguez and Pedro Carrasco.
After retiring Ben Hassen became a coach and trained the likes of Taofik Balbouli and Kamel Bou Ali, both world champions later in their careers.

Patricia Berghult vs Olivia Belkacem is still on as headliner November 27 in Jonkoping, Sweden, but with "only" the WBC Interim super welterweight title at stake. Berghult has been stripped of the IBO title due to "no official sanction request received before expiration of multiple extensions".
As for Berghult's fight against Marie Eve Dicaire in Canada - it's now off.
On the same show the clash between Edin Puhalo vs Samuli Karkkainen might be moved elsewhere.
