Spotlight Boxing and network ProSieben again join forces for a show in Duesseldorf on September 7 with WBA flyweight queen Susi Kentikian on top in a title defense against Shanee Martin from the UK. On the undercard there is an interesting clash at super middleweight between Dmitry Sartison and Gusmyl Perdomo in what in effect is an internal Spotlight eliminator. At middleweight Gennadyi Golovkin, a top prospect, takes on British-based Serbian Geard Ajetovic. Also on the bill is hardpunching heavy Sebastian Kober.
Italian lightweight prospect Devis Boschiero fights Bulgarian veteran Kirkor Kirkorov July 28 in Piove di Sacco.
Veteran heavyweights Henry Akinwande and Michael Sprott are co-challengers for the vacant EU title.
Hagen Sevecke´s charity show in Hattersheim on July 21 will feature four prospects from the Sauerland stable: cruiserweight Alexander Frenkel, jr. middleweights Dominik Britsch and Alexander Abraham and jr welterweight Frank Shabani. Jr. welterweight Ali Ahraoui, formerly with Spotlight Boxing, and super middleweight Kavin Gabhard return after long layoffs.
WBA interim cruiserweight champ Firat Arslan is featured in the co-headliner to Brahmer vs. Veit II September 15 in Rostock. Also on the bill are heavyweight Taras Bidenko and cruiserweight Aleksander Alekseev.
Norwegian superbantam Reidar Walstad could be facing Swede Karl Larsson-Jones September 15 in Karlstad in a four-rounder. Walstad lost to EBU champ Bernard Dunne in his last outing. Also on for Karlstad is a light heavyweight clash featuring Giulian Ilie and Kim Jenssen. Ex-champ Riddick Bowe is also scheduled for the show but there seems to be still some uncertainity if he will come or not. If he comes though, he could get tough Russian Daniel Peret as opponent. Headliners Mikael Lindblad, who fights Bruce Seldon, and Aldo Colliander, who could be facing Robert Daniels, are again in Karlstad this week for public sparring to help market the show.
Lightweights Hoang Sang Ngyuen and Mihaita Mutu headline a R S Promotion on July 22 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Jr. lightweights Felix Soria and Juan Francisco Gual clash in the chief support and it´s these two local heroes that are on the posters advertising the show.
